It was once said that "Every great design begins with an even better story."
In 2014, I was sitting at my corporate desk, checking emails, chatting with coworkers—everything felt “normal.” But suddenly, my chest tightened, my heart started racing, and I felt like the walls were closing in. I stood up and rushed to the office restroom. I sat in the stall, overwhelmed and sobbing.
Somehow, someone knew. They called my husband, who worked just across the street. He came and picked me up, tears still running down my face as I gathered my things. I thought I was having a heart attack. We drove straight to urgent care.
After a series of questions, the doctor said, “You’re having a panic attack.” I was stunned. I had eaten breakfast and wasn’t under any immediate pressure. But in therapy, I uncovered the truth: I was burnt out — juggling family, a demanding job, and a lack of boundaries. My therapist looked at me and said, “You need to quit. Pursue your passion.”
The Moment:
Fast-forward to 2022, when I officially opened id Designs & Co. It felt like a fresh start, but I knew I needed something deeper to stand out. I started reflecting on what truly drew me to design and how emotional those reveal moments are for my clients.
One day, my husband and I were driving, and I shared how I’ve seen our clients walk into their new space and exhale. The stress of the renovation, clutter, or budget fades. They light up. They start talking about where they’ll relax, how they’ll enjoy their mornings, how they'll finally feel at home.
And that’s when it hit me: This is our difference. we take the time to truly identify (id) our clients’ needs, then thoughtfully design spaces that allow them to exhale and escape the noise of the outside world. To create well-being. To create environments that hold people emotionally and physically — spaces that support healing, clarity, and peace.

That realization became the foundation of id Designs & Co. I built my brand around wellness within the home, designing spaces that are not just beautiful but intentional. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and disconnected, but I also know what it feels like to walk into a space that instantly grounds you — light, cozy, warm, and completely you.
I use design as a tool to help my clients reconnect with their space, to bring calm, restore joy, and create a home that supports the life they truly deserve.

Mesha is a highly experienced interior designer with a remarkable career spanning over two decades in marketing and directorial roles. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating exceptional living spaces, she has dedicated the past six years to honing her skills in interior design, staging, and custom furniture design. In 2014, she made the courageous decision to resign as an Account Manager, driven by her pursuit of entrepreneurship and her unwavering goal of establishing her very own Interior Decor brand and shop, Instinctively Different.
Mesha's fascination with design was sparked during her formative years, as she closely observed her mother's captivating home renovations. This early exposure ignited her creative spirit and solidified her unwavering commitment to the world of interior design.
Believing that a home should be an authentic reflection of one's individuality and personal values, Mesha approaches each project with a deep understanding that resonates with her clients. She firmly believes that through custom furniture design and staging services, she can bring their unique personalities and styles to life in their living spaces. Mesha's unwavering values are the driving force behind her dedication to assisting clients in realizing their interior design desires.

Design AssistantFrom a young age, Jannine has nurtured a deep love for fashion and the art of styling clothes, which eventually paved her path to the world of modeling. Through her modeling journey, Jannine discovered an unwavering passion for interior decor and design, captivated by the boundless opportunities for creativity, style, and imagination that this field offered her.
Translating the same creative flair she brings to styling outfits and gracing the runway, Jannine now lends her expertise into transforming living spaces. With an innate understanding of visual aesthetics and an eye for detail, she takes delight in decorating interiors, infusing them with a touch of her unique perspective.
