OUR Story
It was once said that “Every great design begins with an even better story.”
In 2014, I was sitting at my corporate desk, checking emails, chatting with coworkers—everything felt “normal.” But suddenly, my chest tightened, my heart started racing, and I felt like the walls were closing in. I stood up and rushed to the office restroom. I sat in the stall, overwhelmed and sobbing.
Somehow, someone knew. They called my husband, who worked just across the street. He came and picked me up, tears still running down my face as I gathered my things. I thought I was having a heart attack. We drove straight to urgent care.
After a series of questions, the doctor said, “You’re having a panic attack.” I was stunned. I had eaten breakfast and wasn’t under any immediate pressure. But in therapy, I uncovered the truth: I was burnt out, juggling family, a demanding job, and a lack of boundaries. My therapist looked at me and said, “You need to quit. Pursue your passion.”

Fast-forward to 2022, when I officially opened id Designs & Co. It felt like a fresh start, but I knew I needed something deeper to stand out. I started reflecting on what truly drew me to design and how emotional those reveal moments are for my clients.
One day, my husband and I were driving, and I shared how I’ve seen our clients walk into their new space and exhale. The stress of the renovation, clutter, or budget fades. They light up. They start talking about where they’ll relax, how they’ll enjoy their mornings, how they'll finally feel at home.

That realization became the foundation of id Designs & Co. I built my brand around wellness within the home, designing spaces that are not just beautiful but intentional. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and disconnected, but I also know what it feels like to walk into a space that instantly grounds you — light, cozy, warm, and completely you.
I use design as a tool to help my clients reconnect with their space, to bring calm, restore joy, and create a home that supports the life they truly deserve.

Mesha Williams is the Founder and Creative Director of id Designs & Co., a wellness-focused interior design studio based in Tampa, FL. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and creative leadership—and six years dedicated to interior design, staging, and custom furniture—Mesha brings a thoughtful, strategic lens to every project.
Her design journey began in childhood, inspired by her mother’s home renovations, and became a full-time pursuit in 2014 after leaving a high-stress corporate role to prioritize her well-being and passion. Today, she leads id Designs & Co. and her artisan décor shop, id Designs & Co. Interiors, curating soulful, sustainable spaces that reflect her clients’ individuality, values, and lifestyle.
Over the past six years, Mesha has honed her expertise in interior design, staging, and custom furniture design. She’s deeply committed to creating spaces that reflect each client’s individuality and values, believing a well-designed home isn’t just beautiful, but also healing, empowering, and restorative.
Mesha’s approach combines a deep respect for craftsmanship, a love of storytelling through design, and a strategic understanding of what it takes to scale a modern brand. She has led id Designs & Co. to earn recognition as the Most Client-Focused Interior Design Studio of 2024 & 2025 in Tampa, Florida. Today, her studio continues to serve busy professionals and families seeking elevated, wellness-centered interiors that bring both peace and personality into their daily lives.
As an active member of ASID’s Business Management Committee, Mesha also mentors aspiring designers and contributes to the advancement of the industry, empowering others to pursue purpose-driven careers just as she did.

Daniela is an Interior Designer at id Designs & Co., bringing a refined approach to residential design with a focus on quiet luxury, sustainability, and functional living. A 2024 honors graduate from Yorkville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Daniela relocated from Canada to Tampa, Florida, to expand her creative horizons and immerse herself in a vibrant design community.
With three years of experience in residential interiors and showroom sales, Daniela specializes in kitchen and bathroom renovations, pairing technical expertise with an eye for detail. She believes that great design extends beyond aesthetics, aiming to create sensory environments that are not only visually appealing but also deeply personal and functional.

Nahla Muhammad

Nahla Muhammad is an Interior Designer at id Designs & Co., currently pursuing her Master’s in Interior Architecture & Design at Florida State University (Class of 2026), with a Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Florida A&M University (Class of 2024). Her multifaceted academic background and passion for design inform a thoughtful, emotion-driven approach to each project.

Carrie Salazar is a Design Assistant at id Designs & Co., based in Tampa, Florida, where she collaborates with a dynamic team to create thoughtful, functional spaces for residential and commercial clients. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, Carrie helps transform design concepts into beautifully executed environments that support ease, flow, and everyday functionality.
With a professional background in organizing, remodeling, and business ownership, Carrie brings a unique perspective to every project. She is also the founder of a boutique floral design company. This creative endeavor enhances her ability to layer texture, color, and life into spaces, adding that extra level of personality and beauty.
Carrie excels in the behind-the-scenes work of design, balancing form and function to ensure each space feels ideally suited for its users. Her combined experience in spatial planning, floral styling, and project support makes her an invaluable part of the id Designs & Co. team.
Cory Williams

Cory Williams is the Project Manager at id Designs & Co., where he oversees the seamless execution of design projects from concept to completion. With a background in Architecture from the University of South Florida and a strong foundation in custom builds and property management, Cory brings a unique blend of technical knowledge, creative insight, and operational excellence to the team.
As a member of the Urban Land Institute, Cory plays a pivotal role in conducting market research and identifying innovative approaches to affordable luxury in housing and commercial developments. His ability to interpret architectural plans, manage timelines, and coordinate with contractors ensures that every project reflects the studio’s signature style—rooted in wellness, sustainability, and quiet luxury—while staying on budget and schedule.
Cory’s leadership is vital to delivering the elevated client experience id Designs & Co. is known for. His attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to quality control allow our clients to feel confident and supported at every stage of the design process, whether they’re renovating a residence, transforming a commercial space, or building from the ground up.
