FAQ

  • Can I see some samples first before I commit to a package?

A: At an additional cost, we will be happy to provide you with samples based on the consultation. To best get an idea of the work I can do and how it will look in your home, please visit my website to see my full portfolio of existing projects. I'm happy to send over more information about any particular previous project that you're interested in.

  • How & when are orders placed?

A: Once you receive a Proposal you have 2 days to either accept, decline, or revise any items. For acceptance, a signed copy of the proposal or approval along with full payment for residential furnishings is required to place an order. No item will be ordered until we receive a signed proposal and full payment.

  • Do you price match on a project?

A: Though I am always happy to discuss a package option that can best suit your budget whilst meeting your expectations, I've based the rates on my experience, contacts, and a price that I find competitive in this market. It is best to consider every option before making a final decision for a long-term investment.

  • Why do I have to pay before I receive my work?

A: Paying a deposit protects both (you) the client and (us) the designer to ensure a high standard of work. A deposit allows us to be compensated for the work needed for the project, while also protecting you to ensure that full payment is complete only when you are happy with the final service.

  • Can I shop on my own?

A: You have hired me to design, decorate and complete a vision for your space. I ask that you do not select or purchase items because that selection may not be fit for the design, space, or budget. You will receive a detailed Specification for items to be purchased direct.

  • What about budget?

A: We take pride in our ability to work within your budget, whether you are looking for luxurious statement pieces, completely custom heirlooms, or more of an item that is budget-friendly. Having a budget is very important for the project to run smoothly and for your expectations to be met.

  • Can I change my mind after an item is on order?

A: Most often orders cannot be canceled or refunded. In the event that a full refund can be attained, you may cancel the order and receive a refund for the cost of the item minus the purchasing fee and any other applicable fees.

If an item still concerns you, please bring these to our attention immediately and we will discuss your concerns and if necessary, find a more desirable solution. The decision about what is purchased and installed in your home is ultimately yours.

  • What is FF&E Procurement?

FF&E (Procurement is the sourcing, budgeting, purchasing, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment in hotel, luxury residential and workplace projects.

FF&E procurement is not just about buying furniture. It's about buying the right furniture for the project at hand and then delivering it to the site in time for construction to begin. This means understanding how your project fits into a larger picture—and what role it plays in achieving that overall vision.

  • What is OS&E Procurement

OS&E Procurement ("other services and equipment") is the sourcing, budgeting, purchasing, and delivery of consumable goods that require regular reordering in hotels, luxury residential, and workplace interiors.

OS&E includes not only items such as tableware, glassware, and silverware, but also includes products such as housekeeping equipment & supplies, guest room amenities, uniforms, and office supplies, amongst other items.
